New Beginnings

At the start of this semester we students all became a part of something new, a community, a Bayan to be more specific. This has given us an opportunity to become part of something special that we could all remember for a very long time. From what i've seen so far this semester we have all gotten ourselves acquinted with each other and from the looks of it some of us have started to form little groups/cliques and I only see it getting better as time passes on. I have already seen the effects of being in a new community like this because regardless of our races and differences we have been getting closer, like a family hopefully. That's why we all have the opportunity to turn this into something special were we could all be friends long after these classes are over with and just reflect on how this was the beginning of something special.

Who am I?

That one question we all eventually ask ourselves at some point in our lives, who am I? this question can go a long way to you questioning everything around you wether it's your race, culture, the people around you, and even your family. This is one problem that we all go through and it's also a blessing in disguised because when you finally do answer this question, you as person is better for it. I say this because even though it requires a lot of "soul searching" and making decisions that you may not like for example changing the way you are, a change of scenery, or maybe letting go of friends but at the end it's all worth it. I'm in the process of answering this question because there is no time table for how long it takes for someone to answer this question because we are all different. So I say to those who haven't asked themselves this question to do it because you will come out a better person and you'll be thanking yourself.
